A contemporary studio in Historic Downtown Santa Ana — 20-foot ceilings under original timber truss, two tall white walls, a red brick accent, and a brushed aluminium wall that throws hard, liquid reflections. Chrome, steel and glass throughout. Every set is standing and every light is rigged, so the hour you book is the hour you shoot.

ABOUT THE SPACE OC

Built for creatives, by creatives. We've been where you are — searching for a space that actually gets it. That's why Space OC was born. Located in the heart of historic Downtown Santa Ana, we built the space we always wished existed: intentional, versatile, and designed to make your work look and feel extraordinary.

Space OC is home to three distinct studios — The Loft, an industrial-style powerhouse built for full-scale productions, Daylight Suite, a light-kissed boutique space dripping with character and texture and Studio 3, a Contemporary and sculptural style studio. Housed in neighboring buildings just steps apart, all three studios share the same DNA: elevated, intentional, and built to make your creative vision come to life. Whether you're shooting fashion, building a brand, filming content, or telling a story — there's a space here that was made for exactly that.

FAQ

  • The studio rental is just for the space itself, so you’ll bring your own photographer/ videographer. Think of it as an Airbnb for a photo studio—but we can recommend some fantastic photographers/videographers if you need one!

  • All lighting, furniture, props, grip gear are included. You only pay extra for colored backdrops or special add-ons.

  • Absolutely. We offer quick walkthroughs so you can get a feel for the space and plan your shoot. We also have a virtual walkthrough that you can watch here on our site.

  • Both studios are located in Historic Downtown Santa Ana, CA — steps apart from each other inside neighboring buildings.

  • Yes — when you book a studio, it's exclusively yours for the duration of your session.

  • Yes — both studios can be booked independently or together for larger productions.

  • Yes. Please check our booking page for current minimum hour requirements per studio.

The Space offers a comfortable and creative environment to work in. You'll find a cozy couch and plenty of props to help you create the perfect shoot. With a personal bathroom and air conditioning, you'll have everything you need to make your photoshoot a success.
