ABOUT THE SPACE OC
Located in Historic Downtown Santa Ana, The Space OC was created for like minded creatives in Orange County and the surrounding areas available for rental. This is a perfect location for Photographers, Makeup Artist, Actors, Models and Brands.Just over 1000 sq. ft. of space to create in, you'll notice the industrial-chic vibe of the studio, with its exposed brick and cement walls
and 15-foot high ceilings.
One of the most striking features of The Space is the abundant natural light that floods the studio, creating the perfect environment for capturing stunning photos. The studio is also equipped with professional-grade lighting gear, backdrops, a Bluetooth speaker, a large mirror, and a makeup vanity area to accommodate all your production needs.

James Davis II is A luminary in film directing and photography, James creates enchanting music videos and captivating brand narratives. His work has graced prestigious stages like Times Square and the 2018 Winter Olympics, and has been featured on MTV, E! Television, Disney Channel, and VH1. James has collaborated with celebrities including Chris Brown, Usher, Pharrell Williams, and more, capturing the essence of emotions within each frame. As the founder and owner of The Space OC, his creative vision turns every project into a journey of unparalleled creativity.
Dulce Moran, With over 5 years of experience, Dulce is a professional makeup artist who has worked on projects for beauty brands, music videos, photoshoots, and bridal work. She has collaborated with artists like Maluma, Nicki Minaj, and Myriam Fares for the FIFA World Cup music video, and served as a key makeup artist for artists such as Latto and Cannons. Dulce's passion for her craft drives her to continue growing in her career, with aspirations to start her own makeup line.

One of the coolest studios in OC, for sure. The natural light is great. If I'd had more time, the studio backdrops and lights would've been fun to play around with. It was super easy to book and James seems great. I would love to shoot here again.

The Space OC, was an incredible experience, James and Dulce were so welcoming from the moment I booked. Their communication was flawless from start to finish, we even had some questions about the lights in the studio and James came over to help us adjust them as soon as we texted. The space was immaculate and had pretty much every single prop we could ever want. They even helped me carry in some props that I definitely didn't need once I saw the space and what James and Dulce had curated! We shot for 4 hours and had the BEST time just being able to pop from one area of space to the next to follow all the natural light that is so beautiful in the studio. This space is EXACTLY what OC needed, I can't rave about my experience enough!

Today was my first time using the space, and I will be back. It’s exactly as the pictures show it. I love the many vignette options. The lighting is amazing and just lovely. All my interactions with James were incredible. He is informative and goes the extra mile. He even saved a parking space in the front of the building while our client turned around to come back and park. I mean, who does that? James! All I know is we had the most incredible experience, and if I could give 10 stars I would!
